Our Georgia O'keeffe Projects

Ok, so maybe I haven't updated the blog in over a month...but it took almost that long to finish these amazing projects. My Art 1 students used watercolors to paint 18" 24" Georgia O'keeffe style works. Here are a few examples. they drew and painted these using fake flowers...and I think they did a WONDERFUL job! Let me know what you think.

About the artists

The artwork below was created by my Art I and Art II students! They range from 9th to 12 grades and are all talented and really intelligent kids. Art II did self portraits and mosaics of famous portraits using magazines. Art I worked on Pop art images using warm or cool colors and Still life drawings using oil pastels. They also did some great 2 point perspective landscapes, but those are all little more difficult to see. Thanks for viewing out work and keep checking back for more updates.
